Deyin Zhao

Deyin Zhao has extensive work experience in the field of optical engineering. Deyin most recently worked as a Principal Optical Engineer at MACOM since September 2023. Prior to that, they were an R&D Engineer at Hisense Photonics from September 2022 to August 2023. Before that, they held the position of Principal Optical Engineer at MACOM Technology Solutions from May 2017 to August 2022. Deyin also worked as a Researcher at The University of Texas at Arlington from January 2015 to April 2017. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Engineer at Semerane, Inc. from June 2012 to December 2014. Deyin began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology from July 2005 to June 2008.

Deyin Zhao obtained a PhD in Optics/Optical Sciences from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, where they studied from 2005 to 2008.
