Gary Fang

Lead RF Engineer at MACOM

Gary Fang has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Gary most recently worked as a Lead RF Engineer at MACOM, where they supported the RF Test Engineering and Product Engineering group in implementing new product test solutions and continuous improvement activities. Prior to MACOM, they served as a Lead Test Engineer at Intersil, managing all test activities in Taiwan/China and providing technical support to achieve goals in terms of product yield, quality, cost, and productivity. Before that, they held the position of Senior Foundry Product Engineer at Murata Electronics and worked as a PhD Student in the RF/High-speed field. Gary also has experience as a Senior Field Service Application Engineer at Johnstech International, a Field Product Specialist/ Consultant at Cascade Microtech, a Specialist at WinWay Technology Co., Ltd., and an RD Engineer/ Product Engineer at ASE Group. During their time at ASE Group, they also worked as a Testing Maintenance Engineer in the Wafer Sort Department. In their various roles, Gary has demonstrated expertise in test engineering, product engineering, yield improvement, failure analysis, and electrical specifications.

Gary Fang pursued a Ph.D. in RF/High-Speed Measuring at National Cheng Kung University from 2004 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in SAW filter/resonator from I-Shou University between 1999 and 2001. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Microsoft Teams Essential Training, OneNote Essential Training, SQL learning, Power BI Desktop learning, effective note-taking, proficient knowledge in Six Sigma, Operations Management Foundations, Problem-Solving Techniques, and Excel: Tips and Tricks.
