Jared Carter

Jared Carter is a seasoned electronic design engineer with extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Electronic Design Engineer at MACOM since May 2022, Jared previously held the position of Member of Engineering Staff at Lockheed Martin from July 2017 to April 2022. Prior to that, Jared worked as an RF Engineer at Marki Microwave from May 2015 to June 2017, and contributed as a Graduate Student Researcher and Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley from June 2011 to May 2015. Jared's early research experience includes a role as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from May 2009 to May 2011. Jared holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, earned in 2015, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in 2011.
