Jason Fender

Jason Fender has extensive work experience in the semiconductor industry. Jason began their career in 1995 as a Process Engineer at M/A-COM, where they developed and sustained various etch and evaporation processes. Jason also maintained SPC and wrote specifications. From 2000 to 2015, they worked at Freescale Semiconductor, starting as an Integration Engineer and later transitioning to Product Engineer and NPI Product Engineering Manager roles. Jason then joined NXP Semiconductors in 2015 as an NPI Product Engineering Manager until 2019. After that, they worked at Cree as a Senior Product Engineer until 2021 and then as Director of Product and Test Engineering until 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Product Engineering at MACOM, starting in December 2023.

Jason Fender attended Colorado State University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
