Jay Barrett is a Distinguished Fellow of Technology at MACOM, specializing in semiconductor modeling with a focus on III-V semiconductors. With extensive experience in software algorithms and automation, Jay is skilled in non-linear model development, design optimization, and data analysis. Previously, they held key engineering roles at Tyco Electronics and M/A-COM Technology Solutions, where they managed modeling groups and advanced characterization labs. Jay earned an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
