Mario Bokatius

Mario Bokatius has over 20 years of work experience in the semiconductor industry. Mario is currently the Vice President of RF Commercial Products at MACOM since December 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Wolfspeed as the Vice President of PL Communications Infrastructure from June 2021 to December 2023. Before that, they held various roles at Wolfspeed, including Sr. Director of Product Management, RF Communications Infrastructure, and Director of Product Management from 2018 to 2021. Mario also worked at NXP Semiconductors as the Director of RF Front-End Solutions from 2017 to 2018 and as a Product Line Manager, RF from 2015 to 2017. Mario's early career includes positions at Freescale Semiconductor, where they served as a Product Line Manager, Technical RF Business Development Manager, RF Applications Engineering Manager, RF Applications Engineer, RF Design Engineer, and Senior Staff RF Design Engineer from 2000 to 2015.

Mario Bokatius completed their MSc in Electronics Research at King's College, University of London, UK from 1997 to 1998. Mario then pursued Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University, USA from 1999 to 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) in Electrical Engineering and Nachrichtentechnik from Fachhochschule Gießen-Friedberg, Germany, which they completed from 1991 to 1996.
