Padman Parayanthal

Padman Parayanthal has over 40 years of work experience, starting as a research scholar at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research in Mumbai in 1978. Padman then worked at Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies, and Agere Systems from 1986 to 2002, holding various roles including MTS, DMTS, and CMTS. From 2002 to 2013, Padman served as VP & GM and Director of Product Development at CyOptics. Padman then joined Avago Technologies as a Senior Manager from 2013 to 2015. Currently, Padman is the Director of Engineering and Product Development at MACOM, starting in July 2016.

Padman Parayanthal received their Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Physics from the University of Calicut, where they studied from 1973 to 1978. Padman then pursued further education at The City University of New York, earning a Master of Philosophy degree in 1980 and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physics in 1984.
