Roland

Roland Ma has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Roland began their career as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Gatekeeper Systems, Inc. in June 2004 and later transitioned to the role of Electrical Engineer in May 2005. Roland remained with Gatekeeper Systems, Inc. until September 2016. In January 2017, Roland joined Siemens as a Research Professional and later became a Software Test Automation Engineer in September 2020. Roland worked at Siemens until October 2023. Currently, Roland is employed as a Principal Software Engineer at MACOM starting in October 2023.

Roland Ma holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Irvine. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University. Additionally, Roland has acquired numerous certifications in various fields such as data engineering, security operations, vulnerability management, and network security. Roland also holds a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
