Therese Deane

Therese Deane has over two decades of experience in various roles related to compliance, quality systems, and environmental regulations. Therese currently works at MACOM as a Senior Director, leading teams across multiple locations and overseeing ESG strategies. Prior to this, they held a Director position at MACOM and was responsible for global compliance and quality systems. Before joining MACOM, Therese worked at EMC as a Program Manager, focusing on regulatory affairs and product compliance. Therese also has experience at ProFloor as a Project and Safety Manager and at Irish Rail in roles such as Health and Safety Executive and Assistant Chief Chemist and Metallurgist. Their early career includes a role as a Document Control Administrator at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson.

Therese Deane has a diverse education history. Therese obtained their BSc (Hons) degree in Chemistry from University College Cork between 1993 and 1997. Therese then pursued an MSc degree in Materials Chemistry at the same institution from 1997 to 1999. In 2000 to 2002, they attended the Irish Management Institute and obtained a Higher Diploma in Management. During the same period, they also studied at the British Institute of Non Destructive Testing, specializing in Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, and Dye Penetrant Inspection of Axles, Welds, Castings, and Forgings. Lastly, in 2005 to 2006, they completed a Certificate program in Health, Safety, and Welfare at Work from University College Dublin.
