Jane Dancer has an extensive career in the biopharmaceutical industry. Jane began their career in 2000 as a Global Project Manager for Aventis CropScience. In 2002, they became the Director of Business Development for Cambridge Antibody Technology/AstraZeneca, where they were part of the negotiation team for the strategic collaboration with AstraZeneca. In 2008, they joined Cellzome as Vice President of Business Development and was responsible for the negotiation of two significant collaborations with GSK. In 2012, they became Chief Business Officer for F-star Biotechnology Ltd. In 2018, they were appointed Non Executive Director of the BioIndustry Association. In 2020, they became Non Executive Director of NanoSyrinx and Macomics, and Non Executive Chairman of PharmEnable and Spirea. In 2022, they were appointed Non Executive Director of Elasmogen Ltd.
Jane Dancer received their MBA from the University of Cambridge in 2002. Jane then completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Plant Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge in 1987. Jane began their studies at the University of Cambridge in 1981, receiving their BA in Natural Science, First Class in 1984.
