Moritz Haneklaus

Moritz Haneklaus is a Principal Scientist at Macomics, where they currently lead scientific research. Previously, Moritz held various academic positions, including Postdoctoral Fellow at the Wellcome Sanger Institute and Postdoctoral Researcher at Trinity College Dublin, focusing on neuro-immune interactions and post-transcriptional control in inflammasome research. They have also contributed as a Research Fellow and Visiting Researcher at University College London, conducting research at the intersection of child health and rare diseases. Moritz obtained a PhD in Biochemistry and Immunology from Trinity College Dublin and has a background in molecular biology and biomedicine from prestigious institutions including Heidelberg University and Karolinska Institutet.
