Donald MacDonald has a comprehensive work experience spanning several industries. Donald started their career in 1997 as a Process Engineer at Rio Tinto Alcan, where they later became a Supply Chain Manager. From 2003 to 2013, MacDonald worked at Bakkavor in various roles, including Commercial Manager and Head of Commercial. Donald then joined Marine Harvest Group as the Head of Supply Chain in 2014. MacDonald served as a Business Consultant at Denholm Consultants from 2018 to 2019 before becoming the Operations Director at The Scottish Salmon Company. Currently, they hold the position of Operations Director at Macphie UK.
Donald MacDonald completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Donald later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from The University of Edinburgh, attending from 2000 to 2003.
