Simon Barton

Simon Barton is an Associate Director in the Risk Management Group at Macquarie Group, where they focus on delivering transformational change to enhance controls and efficiency within the Financial Services industry. A fully qualified Chartered Accountant, Simon possesses expertise in management, risk management, compliance, and various aspects of corporate and investment banking. They graduated with an MBA from Henley Business School (UK) and a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting from the University of Auckland. Simon's past experience includes roles at KPMG, Merrill Lynch, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, as well as serving as Head of Treasury Accounting at Fonterra. They are a member of Chartered Accountants Australia + New Zealand.
