Stephen Echt

Stephen Echt is the Executive Director of the Risk Management Group at Macquarie Group and has held the position since 2024. Previously, they served as a Division Director in the Credit Risk department, focusing on non-bank Financial Institutions and various divisions within Macquarie. Stephen began their career as a Senior Accountant at Grant Thornton Australia from 2002 to 2007. They hold a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Technology, Sydney, completed in 2002, and graduated from Fort Street High School in 1999.
