Vicky Hyde-Smith

Vicky Hyde-Smith is the Head of NZ Fixed Income at Macquarie Asset Management, having joined the firm in March 2022 as a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Global Fixed Income team. Vicky is a Director on the Macquarie Asset Management NZ Board and oversees the management of all NZ fixed interest and cash portfolios while leading the team’s fixed interest strategy. Prior to this role, Vicky built a successful career at AMP Capital, where they progressed from Investment Analyst to Head of NZ Fixed Income. Vicky holds a BA and B.Com in Business Administration and Management, along with studies in French and Japanese, from the University of Canterbury and speaks Japanese fluently.
