Melinda Wallman is an accomplished legal recruitment executive with extensive experience in leading high-level searches for major law firms and corporations. Currently serving as Chairman and Global Practice Leader at Macrae since October 2018, Wallman is also a Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director at Reignite Academy. Previously, Wallman was a Partner and led the EMEA Partner Practice Group at Major, Lindsey & Africa from March 1999 to September 2018, where significant contributions included establishing the London and Hong Kong offices and specializing in placements within renowned law firms such as Allen & Overy and Milbank Tweed. Earlier roles included consulting at Garfield Robbins International and co-founding the fine jewellery business Opal Treasures. Wallman holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from UNSW, along with a degree in Germanistik from Freie Universität Berlin.
