Steve Gates

Steve Gates is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in infrastructure engineering and management. Currently serving as Principal Infrastructure Engineer at Macro 4 since January 2013, Steve oversees senior engineering roles and has successfully designed and implemented a global multi-datacenter Business Continuity Planning strategy. Prior to this, Steve held various positions at Cats Protection, including IT Infrastructure Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing IT infrastructure for approximately 500 staff and 9,000 volunteers, and Senior Network Engineer, managing network and server operations. Steve's career began as an IT Support Officer at Redcat Marketing/ME Publishing. Steve holds a BSc(Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Warwick and completed studies at Brighton, Hove & Sussex Sixth Form College.
