Alex Trombetta

Alex Trombetta has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. They started their career as a Biotech Associate Scientist at BASF, where they focused on biotechnology research and played a role in project management and environmental sustainability initiatives. They then moved on to work at COPE Health Solutions, where they held positions as a Business Analyst, Consultant, and Senior Consultant. During this time, they successfully managed client accounts, led client projects, secured new business, and implemented population health solutions.

In addition to their work at COPE Health Solutions, Alex also gained experience as a Co-Founder at Kyt, a health/wellness-oriented cannabis beverage brand. They were responsible for driving the launch of the brand, fundraising efforts, and refining product-market fit.

Following their role at Kyt, Alex worked as an MBA intern in Product Marketing at Amwell, where they supported the commercialization of an app marketplace. They conducted market analysis, presented recommendations to leadership, and collaborated cross-functionally to launch the marketplace and associated marketing materials.

Alex also worked as a Flare Capital Scholar Fellow at Flare Capital Partners, where they connected with leading investors and start-ups in healthcare technology and digital health. They participated in pitch reviews and gained valuable experience in the field.

Currently, Alex holds multiple positions in different companies. They are the Principal of New Ventures at INITIATE and the Vice President of Strategy & Product for Macro Trials. They also serve as a Venture Partner at Courtyard Ventures.

Furthermore, Alex is involved in the start-up Kinometrix as a Co-Founder and Advisor. They have led fundraising efforts and secured non-dilutive funding from various organizations. They have also been selected for nationally recognized startup accelerators.
