Sahan De Silva is an experienced product and engineering leader, currently serving as the Director of Product at MacroActive since June 2019. Initially the company's first product-related hire, Sahan took charge of product development and significantly enhanced the data strategy by implementing a sophisticated customer behavior tracking and analytics system. Prior to this role, Sahan co-founded Cyrup and led engineering teams to create IoT-based retail analytics solutions, and contributed as Lead Product Developer at Real Estate U, where Sahan was instrumental in launching the company's SaaS offerings. Sahan's early career involved co-founding Arimac, a major digital agency in Sri Lanka, and working as an independent software developer after starting as a graphic designer. Sahan holds an MBA from the University of Suffolk and an Executive Diploma in Leadership and Management from the Colombo School of Business Management.
