Following this, from 2003 to 2007, they pursued a bachelor's degree in Financial Administration with an honorable mention from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Jose Juan then enrolled in a Diploma program in Portfolio Management at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México from 2007 to 2008, specializing in Real Estate. In 2013, they attended Hult Ashridge and completed their Master's degree in Finance, with a focus on Finance and Financial Management Services. Most recently, in 2019 and 2020, they became a Level 2 Candidate at the CFA Institute.
