Eric Anderson

Eric Anderson is a highly experienced chemist with a strong background in medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical development, and academia. Currently serving as a Senior Chemist at Macrocyclics since February 2024, Anderson previously held the position of Principal Scientist CMC at Reata Pharmaceuticals, where significant contributions included developing synthetic routes for clinical candidates and performing scale-up synthesis. Anderson has a robust teaching history as an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Tarrant County College, and experience in research and patent advisory roles at various companies, including Eosera, Inc., and Roberts Foster LLP. Anderson holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Harvard University and a BA in Chemistry from Rice University.
