Ross Latta has extensive experience in finance and strategy roles. Ross co-founded MacroFin in 2018 and served as the CEO and CFO. Prior to that, they worked at Telstra from 2015 to 2018, where they held the position of Finance, Strategy & Investment Manager and Finance Manager for Telstra Operations. During their time at Telstra, they successfully implemented a centralized finance model and provided financial planning, budgeting, and reporting support to the business units. Before Telstra, Ross worked at Sensis as a Finance Business Partner for Digital Products, where they provided financial analysis and advice to the Digital Product and Innovation team. Ross also worked at Warner Bros. TV Production UK Limited as a Project Accountant / Finance Business Partner and at Monitor as a Compliance Manager, where they evaluated the financial and operational performance of NHS hospitals. Ross began their career at BDO (NSW-Vic) Pty Ltd, where they provided financial, tax, and audit advice, managed client portfolios, and led a team of professionals.
Ross Latta completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance at Monash University from 2003 to 2006. Later, from 2008 to 2009, they pursued the Chartered Accountant program at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In 2014, Ross enrolled in the Melbourne Business School where they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) between 2014 and 2016. Moreover, Ross spent a brief period in 2016 at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business), but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
