Melanie Y.

Melanie Y. began their work experience in 2014 as a Supervisor in the Clinical Laboratory Department at Strand Life Sciences. Here, they managed daily operations, oversaw lab personnel, developed laboratory policies and procedures, and resolved technical issues. Melanie also implemented quality metrics, collaborated with senior executives, and optimized production efficiency. In 2016, they joined IMD Path as a Senior Manager in the Clinical Laboratories, where they continued to oversee laboratory operations. Then, in 2018, they joined Tempus Labs, Inc. as Manager of Molecular Laboratory Operations, responsible for managing the molecular laboratory operations. Most recently, in 2021, Melanie Y. joined MacroGenics, Inc. as the Associate Director of Clinical Lab Operations.

Melanie Y. attended Colorado State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences and Microbiology. In 2013, they obtained a certification in Molecular Biology from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) with the designation MB(ASCP)CM.
