Susan Brann (Van Aken) is a seasoned clinical project manager with over 17 years of experience in the biotechnology and genomics sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Clinical Project Manager at MacroGenics, Inc. since April 2010, Susan has progressed through various roles, developing a strong foundation in clinical research and project management. Prior experience includes leadership roles in laboratory management at OpGen, Inc., where significant production and efficiency improvements were achieved, and at Accugenix, Inc., where regulatory compliance and library verification were key focuses. An adept communicator, Susan also contributed to technical marketing and educational initiatives. Earlier career roles include managing microbial identification laboratories and sequencing projects at notable organizations such as The Institute for Genomic Research and Midi Labs, Inc.
