Weichen Xu

Weichen Xu has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Currently, they work as the Director of Analytical Sciences at MacroGenics, Inc. Their previous experience includes working at AstraZeneca as an Associate Principal Scientist and Scientist II in the Analytical Sciences department. Before that, they were a Scientist II and Scientist I in the Analytical Biotechnology field at MedImmune. Weichen Xu also worked as a Research Scientist and Postdoc Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. They started their professional journey as a Graduate Student at the Eshelman School of Pharmacy, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Weichen Xu completed their undergraduate studies as an Undergraduate Student at Sun Yat-Sen University.

Weichen Xu completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Biology and Biotechnology from Sun Yat-sen University from 2003 to 2007. Later, from 2007 to 2012, Weichen Xu pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemical Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
