Mad Beatz Philly provides college-preparatory training in performance and  pedagogy to drummers ages 13 and older under the mentorship of compassionate professionals from their very own neighborhoods.

2.  The pursuit of collective excellence instills the value of self-awareness, emotion regulation, patience, and positive relationships, strengthening social/emotional skills and improving the quality of our participants' interpersonal relationships.

3.  A community of like-minded peers and mentors will greatly reduce our participants' likelihood of engaging in self-harming behaviors, such as drug/alcohol abuse, criminal activity, and other behaviors our participants witness every day in Philadelphia.
