MAD Ceilings – Where Design Meets Acoustics

MAD Ceilings was founded by Mikael, Andreas, and Dylan—hence the name MAD. After several years of close collaboration between Kornets Akustik and DTS Akustik, we merged our expertise into a company dedicated to creating bespoke ceiling solutions and helping architects bring their visions to life.

Our breakthrough came with the iconic Taverna Brillo, initiating a successful partnership with renowned interior architect Jonas Bohlin. This fruitful collaboration has expanded into celebrated restaurants such as Luzette, The Hills, Sturehof, Stockholms Matmarknad, Aira, and AG’s. More recently, we’ve proudly installed bespoke ceiling solutions at popular venues including Riche Fenix, Tobak, Freja, and Gondolen.

We’re particularly proud of our contribution to Hotel Scandic Haymarket, where we developed a unique ceiling type that has since become highly sought-after within the industry.

MAD Ceilings is the premium partner of Impact Acoustic in Sweden.
Impact Acoustic, based in Switzerland, creates innovative acoustic solutions crafted from recycled PET bottles, combining sustainability, functionality, and exceptional design.

We also proudly represent Acosorb in Sweden.
Acosorb, based in the Netherlands, specializes in seamless acoustic spray ceilings and wall finishes, known for their outstanding acoustic performance, elegant aesthetics, and versatility—perfect for contemporary architectural and interior design projects.
