Adam K. has over 16 years of experience in the gaming industry, starting from their role as QA Tutor at Gamelion Studios in 2007. Adam worked as a Game Designer at Gamelion Studios until 2010, during which they were responsible for game design, level design, creative writing, playtesting sessions, and maintaining feedback. Adam then served as a Game Designer (mobile) at Square Enix Europe from 2012 to 2015, where they led monetization, game balance, and economy adjustments, set up design guidelines, workflow, and quality bar for upcoming games, and oversaw and guided game design and gameplay vision of multiple projects developed by 3rd parties. Later in 2015, they joined Space Ape Games, serving as the Lead Game Designer and Founder of the Boom Beach: Frontlines team after completing a 3-year tenure as the Design Lead on the most successful Transformers game to date - Transformers: Earth Wars. Adam created Senior and lead game design documentation to prototyping, implementation, balancing, and live ops across multiple areas and specialties and generated over $150m in revenue during their tenure. Apart from this, they also worked as Junior Studio Lead GD and Game Designer at Gameloft Madrid, Full Member at BAFTA, and Author of Practical Game Design at Packt, starting from 2011, 2016, and 2018, respectively. Currently, they are working as Game Manager at Madbox since 2023.
In 2007, Adam K. attended the Żak Science and Business Centre for a one-year post-secondary program in psychology and sociology. The following year, they attended Uniwersytet Szczeciński for a degree in education of computer science and technology. However, it is not clear if they completed this degree program as no end date is provided.
