Made in Rio is organizing Rio's tech ecosystem.

The same way Google organized the internet, and Facebook organized your friends, we're organizing our beautiful city.

Rio has everything the next great innovation hub needs: world-class talent (IME, PUC, IMPA), 70% of Brazil's energy production, and one of the densest research lab clusters in Latin America (1,450 laboratories at UFRJ alone). What it's been missing is connective tissue. Too much talent and capital flow to São Paulo because the people building here don't know each other yet.

We're fixing that.

• AI Salon Rio — our monthly flagship event. Corporates, government, academia, investors and startups in the same room.

• The Made in Rio platform (coming soon) — a living map of who's who and what's happening in carioca tech: events, jobs, labs, funding, opportunities. If it's being built in Rio, you'll find it here.

• The YouTube channel (coming soon) — taking the camera inside the places where innovation is actually being built in Rio. The labs, the founders' garages, the rooms most people never see.

We're cool.
We're passionate.
We're rebels.

We are Made in Rio.
