Alex Smith has diverse work experience in various roles and positions.

In 2017, Alex worked as a Barman at THE WESTBROOK INN LIMITED, where they operated the bar and handled customer service and staff coordination during busy periods.

From June to December 2019, Alex worked as a Developer at gloversure, specializing in full stack web development with technologies such as JavaScript, Java, PHP, and SQL. They also gained experience with different JavaScript frameworks like React and Ember, as well as Laravel.

In May 2020, Alex joined Redwing Interactive as a Developer. They were responsible for modernizing and improving custom codebases, using multiple languages, frameworks, and CMS tools, including C#.NET, Xamarin, PHP Laravel, JavaScript, and JQuery. They also successfully launched a high-demand multi-platform mobile e-commerce platform within strict deadlines.

From July 2021 to April 2022, Alex took on the role of a Backend Engineer at 3 SIDED CUBE. They contributed to tech-for-good projects, including the development of a platform connecting funders with re-foresters and eco-friendly programs. Alex implemented strict test-driven development (TDD) practices and enforced OOP Laravel guidelines for a highly maintainable API. They also integrated AWS and Docker extensively.

Currently, Alex is working as a Software Engineer at Made Tech, starting in April 2022, where they are actively involved in software development.
