Helena Rix

Helena Rix is an experienced Lead Content Designer currently working at Made Tech since October 2023, having previously held the same title at the Financial Conduct Authority from July to October 2023, where efforts were focused on establishing content design as an in-house discipline and championing user-centered design. Prior to these roles, Helena was a Senior UX Content Designer at Asda from March 2018 to June 2023, designing content for Asda Groceries and leading projects such as a smart shopping list and a redesign of the self-service hub. Helena also served as Digital Content Manager at Bert & May, overseeing digital content management and the redesign of the company’s e-commerce website, and worked as a Content Designer and Content Editor at Highways England, contributing to major infrastructure projects. Helena's career began as a Digital Marketing Executive at Corporate Document Services Co and included roles at the BBC and Usborne Childrens Books. Helena holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Linguistic Science from the University of York.
