Dennis DeVore

Dennis DeVore has over 30 years of experience in the IT industry. Dennis is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Made4net since March 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at Zethcon, a Made4net Company, starting in January 2020.

Before joining Made4net, Dennis worked at NYSE from July 2018 to December 2019 as a Senior Information Technology Analyst. Dennis was responsible for two projects related to gathering order, trade, and market data for auditing and surveillance, both required by the SEC. Dennis also assisted in the conversion of the Chicago Stock Exchange's Institutional Broker Client to NYSE's Pillar matching engine.

Dennis had a long and diverse tenure at the Chicago Stock Exchange beginning in 1987. Dennis held multiple roles including Senior Information Technology Architect, Senior System Analyst, Systems Analyst, and Lead Programmer. As an Information Technology Architect, they designed and developed an application for the SEC that writes millions of records per hour and joins market data containing billions of records per day. As a Senior System Analyst, they developed an IT maintenance-free application that improved the accuracy and readability of reports for the Market Regulation department. Dennis also managed a team of 25 developers on Post-Trade applications. As a Systems Analyst, Dennis introduced new techniques and tools to simplify NYSE Chicago applications. Dennis also played a key role as a Lead Programmer, engineering a database logging application that improved job monitoring for IT support staff. Additionally, they were responsible for maintaining and upgrading Post-Trade, Billing, and Market Regulations applications.

Dennis started their career as a Lead Programmer at Omeda in 1987, where they developed an application for maintaining mailing lists for magazine publications. Dennis also worked as a Software Programmer at Inland Real Estate Investment Corporation from 1985 to 1987, focusing on applications for real estate sales.

Throughout their career, Dennis DeVore has demonstrated their expertise in software engineering, system analysis, and architecture within the financial and IT industries.

Dennis DeVore has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from DeVry University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 1990, Dennis obtained the certification "Introduction to Oracle for Developers" from Oracle. Dennis then obtained the certifications "Relational Database Design" from Oracle in 1991 and "VMS System Security Features" from Digital Education and Training in 1992. In 1992, Dennis also obtained the certification "Developer Applications with PL/SQL" from Oracle. Dennis acquired the "Programming in C" certification from Digital Education and Training in 1993. In 1994, Dennis obtained two certifications: "Programming in Microsoft C++" from Microsoft and "Introduction to UNIX" from the American Institute, Inc. Finally, in 2019, they obtained the certification "Oracle PL/SQL and SQL" from TestDome.
