Network Systems Lead at Madison Performance Group

Jay Caplan has worked in the IT industry for over 30 years. Jay began their career in 1988 as a Network Administrator and Programmer/Analyst at Citibank, where they were responsible for the operations of a 5 server, 150 user Novell network supporting the Treasury and Finance departments. Jay purchased, installed, and maintained LAN hardware and software, as well as performing troubleshooting on network problems and computer peripherals. In 1991, they moved to Product Identification & Processing Systems, Inc. as a Systems Administrator. In 2011, they joined Madison Performance Group as a Network Systems Lead, where they managed IT support staff and assisted with day to day operations of the IT department. Jay was responsible for Systems Administration of physical and virtual servers and infrastructure, including setup, installation, configuration, and management, as well as maintaining and supporting Google Apps for Work installation.

Jay Caplan received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The Ohio State University. Additionally, they have obtained a MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Configuration certification from Microsoft.
