Peter Wikstrom

Peter Wikstrom is the current Vice President and Head of M&A at A.P. Moller - Maersk. Peter has over fifteen years of experience in the finance industry, with a focus on corporate finance and M&A.

Wikstrom began their career as a Trainee at Levi Strauss & Co. in 2000. Peter then spent five years as a Project Finance Analyst/Associate at SEB, before moving to SEB Enskilda as Vice President Corporate Finance in 2006. In 2013, Wikstrom left SEB to join China International Capital Corporation (CICC) as an M&A Advisor. Peter remained with CICC for two years before joining Maersk Group in 2015.

Wikstrom has been with A.P. Moller - Maersk since 2016, first as Director and then as VP & Head of M&A.

Peter Wikstrom has a Master of Science in Business Administration from Lund University.

They are on a team with Lars Henneberg - VP, Head of Risk Management & MD, Maersk Insurance A/S, Mark Wildemans - CFO, APAC, and Gerhard Bosua - CFO, North America. Peter Wikstrom reports to Patrick Jany, EVP & CFO.
