Marvin Bertin

Marvin Bertin is the Co-Founder & CEO of Maestro, a platform and blockchain API for Cardano. Marvin is also the Co-Founder & Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) of Genius Yield, which focuses on automated liquidity management in decentralized finance (DeFi) using AI technology. Marvin has experience as a Founder at Alpha Strategy, LLC and as a Senior Data Scientist Consultant at Insight Softmax Consulting, LLC, where they worked on digital asset management and portfolio rebalancing. Prior to that, Marvin held positions at Freenome as a Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Machine Learning Engineer, working on cancer detection and precision therapies. Marvin also worked as a Data Scientist at Driver, a technology company for cancer treatment access. Marvin's earlier experience includes being a Deep Learning Researcher at Skymind.io, a Graduate Student in Data Science at Galvanize Inc, and a Computational Fluid Dynamics Design Engineer at McGill University. Marvin also worked as a Research Assistant at TU Berlin.

Marvin Bertin holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University. Marvin also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sydney. Marvin has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Data Science from the University of New Haven. In addition to their formal education, they hold an International Baccalaureate Diploma from The International Baccalaureate and is certified as a lifeguard by the American Red Cross. Marvin obtained their International Baccalaureate Diploma in May 2010 and became an American Red Cross certified lifeguard in 2009.
