John Akin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in quality assurance, management, and event coordination. As the President and Owner of Ever After Scrapbooks, John established the largest retail scrapbook store in San Diego County, managing a staff of up to 15 and overseeing all company policies and human resources functions. As the Founder and Director of Survivor Crop, John organized an annual event benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure. In the food industry, John has held various positions, including Director of FSQA at Maev, Director of Quality Assurance at Horizon Food Group, QA Manager at Sunrise Produce/Fresh Cuts, and Vice President of Quality at Perfect Snacks. John’s expertise encompasses food safety programs, quality management, and regulatory compliance, supported by a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health and Safety from Oregon State University.
