Mark B. is an experienced professional in the humanitarian aviation sector, currently serving as the Manager of Impact Research at MAF International since August 2015, where Mark leads a team focused on researching and sharing the impact of MAF’s operations. With over 15 years as a humanitarian pilot, Mark has a proven track record of providing essential flight services to remote areas, facilitating humanitarian and development efforts. Mark has held significant leadership roles, including Country Director for MAF Bangladesh, where responsibilities included overseeing the “Gram Bangla Aviation” project and USAID’s "Leaving No One Behind Activity." Prior to this, Mark served as the Eurasia Program Support Officer at Mission Aviation Fellowship and as Deputy Country Director at PACTEC International in Afghanistan, where Mark contributed to various operational and management functions. Mark holds a B.S. in Engineering/Physics from Westmont College.
