Chris Sparrow is a Chartered Structural Engineer with over forty years of experience in the design and construction of buildings and complex infrastructure. Currently serving as Technical Director at Maffeis Engineering since 2025, Chris has previously held leadership roles at Arcadis Design and Engineering Limited, Arcadis Asia Pacific P/L, AtkinsRéalis, Buro Happold, Hyder Consulting, and Meinhardt (Hong Kong). Chris's passion lies in delivering innovative, sustainable design solutions that exceed client expectations while collaborating closely with project architects, builders, and developers. They earned a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Westminster between 1968 and 1971.
