David Boyle

David Boyle currently serves as the Head of Group Technical Services at MAG (Airports Group) since May 2023, following a significant tenure at Manchester Airport where David has held the position of Head of Asset Optimisation since December 2015. Previous roles include Utilities & Energy Manager at MAG (Airports Group) and Electrical Engineer in the Utilities & Energy Team. David's career began at MAG in December 1984 as a Senior Engineering Technician, with further experience as a BMS Project Engineer at Honeywell Control Systems and as a Project Manager at Systems Integration & Automation (SIA). Academic achievements include an MPhil in Energy Management and System Control from The University of Salford, a BEng (Hons) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from The Manchester Metropolitan University, and an HNC in Building Services Control from Stockport College of Further Education.
