Matt Smith

Matt Smith is currently a Health and Safety Business Partner at London Stansted Airport, bringing extensive knowledge from the motor racing industry, where they were a former competitor in GT and Endurance racing. Since the age of 12, they have been actively involved in motorsport, initially assisting their father with race cars, and later advancing to a successful racing career with notable achievements including a 3rd place finish in the British GT Championship in 2013. Matt transitioned to health and safety roles, initially serving as a Sales Executive and Health and Safety Officer at Anglo American Oil Company Ltd and later managing health and safety at several organizations, including Pickering Interfaces and MAG Airports Group. They hold an NVQ Level 2 in Engineering and Manufacturing.
