Tim Hooper

Tim Hooper is an experienced procurement and operations professional, currently serving as the Head of Procurement & Contracts at MAG (Airports Group) since September 2011. Prior to this role, Hooper held the position of Head of Operations Procurement at BAA from September 2009 to March 2023, managing the procurement of various goods and services for Heathrow and other airports within the group. At Johnson Controls, spanning from January 2001 to April 2009, Hooper served as General Manager Purchasing, overseeing the strategic sourcing of indirect goods and services valued at €980 million, as well as developing SAP procurement processes. In addition, Hooper established a European Supplier Development and Management team during the tenure as Director Supplier Development. Hooper contributed to the governance of the Johnson Controls Group Pension Scheme as a Trustee and Chairman of Trustees from 1997 to 2008. Educational credentials include a BSc in Energy Studies from Swansea University, obtained between 1980 and 1983.
