Marija Vaivade

Marija Vaivade has a diverse work experience in various roles. Marija is currently working as an IT Project Manager at Magebit, a fast-growing agency specializing in eCommerce development. In this role, they are responsible for being the product owner for E-commerce development for external clients.

Prior to that, Marija worked at Rimi Baltic Group as a PL Communication Specialist in the Baltics. Here, they were part of the Product Development unit and the marketing and digital development competence center. Marija worked in this role from September 2019 to October 2022.

Before their time at Rimi Baltic Group, Marija was a Marketing Specialist at VENDEN from February 2018 to July 2019.

Marija Vaivade has a diverse education history. Marija started their academic journey by pursuing a Bachelor's degree in International Marketing and Advertising at Rīga Stradiņš University from 2014 to 2017. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to obtain a Master's professional degree in Business Management from RISEBA University, where they studied from 2018 to 2021.

In 2021, Marija Vaivade enrolled in Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) to pursue a Master's degree in Business Informatics. This program is focused on the field of Computer and Information Sciences and is expected to be completed in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Marija Vaivade has also acquired several certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. Marija obtained the Professional Scrum Product Owner I certification from Scrum.org in January 2022. In September 2021, they completed the Elements of AI course offered by the University of Helsinki. In the same year, they also obtained certification in Brand Management: Aligning Business, Brand and Behaviour from the University of London.

Before their higher education, Marija Vaivade also obtained a driver's license from the Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD) in 2018. In terms of future certifications, they are currently pursuing the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance, which is expected to be obtained in April 2023.
