John Honker has over 20 years of experience in the broadband and telecom industry. John served as the President & CEO of Magellan Advisors from 2004 onwards, where they successfully grew the company's internet service business from $0 to $100 million in annual revenues. Prior to that, they worked at Columbus Networks as the Director of Internet Services from 2000 to 2006. During their time there, they led the development of the company's internet service offerings, growing the business unit from $0 to $70 million in annual revenue. John also significantly increased internet traffic and provided a portfolio of IP, data, and value-added services to domestic and international markets.
John Honker completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Business Administration, and Information Technology at Stetson University. John attended the university from 1994 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Finance and Management at the University of Miami Herbert Business School. John studied at the business school from 2005 to 2007.
