Rex Madden

Rex Madden has an extensive work experience in the technology and software development industry. Rex is currently the Co-Founder and CTO at Magellan AI, a company that helps podcast networks with business growth. Prior to Magellan AI, they were a Board Member and Co-Founder at Stride Consulting, where they played a key role in growing the company from 2 to 40 employees in just 2 years. At Stride, they focused on product development using Agile and Lean Startup methodologies and also applied Lean principles to other areas of the business such as Sales, HR, and Finance.

Before Stride Consulting, Rex was a Co-Founder at Cyrus Innovation, one of the first consulting companies to specialize in Agile engineering practices. Rex oversaw the growth of Cyrus from 2 to 55 employees and played a technical leadership role in creating a team of top-notch, full-stack Agile developers.

Earlier in their career, Rex was a Technical Co-Founder at Fetch-a-Flick, where they used Extreme Programming and Agile Software Development to create an online video store. Rex also had similar roles as a Technical Co-Founder at Tire Labs and Simply Prepaid.

Rex's work experience includes being the Lead Software Developer at microCreditCard, where they introduced Test Driven Development (TDD), Extreme Programming, and Agile Software Development practices. Rex was responsible for developing the microCreditCard product and implementing a robust Java software architecture.

Rex began their career at American Management Systems as a Software Developer. Overall, they have a track record of successfully applying Agile methodologies and driving growth in software development and technology companies.

Rex Madden completed their high school education at Suffern High School from 1989 to 1993. Rex then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University from 1993 to 1997. Additionally, in 2010, they attended Harvard Business School for an Executive Education program in Leading Professional Services Firms.
