Jared Hecht is a seasoned entrepreneur and venture partner at Union Square Ventures since 2024. With a rich background in company building and investment from 2012 to 2023 at Magellan, Jared has developed and invested in successful ventures, including GroupMe, Fundera, Splice, and Blade. As co-founder and CEO of Fundera from 2014 to 2022, Jared led the company to surpass $100 million in annual revenue, attracting over 1 million monthly visitors before its acquisition by NerdWallet in 2020. Prior to this, Jared co-founded GroupMe, which gained immense popularity among college students and was acquired by Skype/Microsoft in 2011.
