Emile Frey has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Emile started their career as an Associate Engineer Intern at CERN where they were responsible for simulating and developing an electrical current monitoring device for the Pixel Detector. Emile then worked as a LaRET Summer Program Research Participant at Louisiana State University, where they designed, manufactured, and programmed functional educational models and applications for the Autonomous Boat Project. Emile also worked as a STEM Teacher at Ruston High School, where they developed and taught original projects and curriculum for both honors and regular classes. At Entergy, Emile worked as a Simulator Specialist and later as a System Engineer - Engineer II, where they maintained the Nuclear Power Plant Simulator's fidelity and identified system failures. Emile also worked as a Software Engineer/Senior Engineer at Cybirical, where they developed multiple Cybersecurity & Asset Management SaaS web applications and led the team in converting the flagship application to a Django REST Framework & 100% React frontend with a customized Webpack configuration. Currently, Emile works as a Frontend Developer at M-Tech, where they maintain and develops an internal custom React component library and designs and develops an internal web tool for dealer/homeowner appointment scheduling.

Emile Frey obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University from 2005 to 2009. Later, they completed a Master's of Arts in Teaching degree at the same university from 2005 to 2013, focusing on 6-12 Physics. Emile also obtained a certification as a FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot from the FAA in March 2019.
