Tim Nonet

Tim Nonet possesses extensive experience in technical roles, particularly in cloud and AI infrastructure. Currently serving as a Member of the Technical Staff at Magic since June 2025, Tim has previously worked as a Cloud/AI Infrastructure Engineer at Hex Technologies and as an Associate Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Tim optimized a C++ optimization library for Python and R compatibility. Tim's background also includes consulting at End-to-End Analytics, driving cloud analytics solutions for a major consumer packaged goods company, and various data science roles at General Motors, Anheuser-Busch InBev, and J.P. Morgan, emphasizing expertise in machine learning, data modeling, and distributed computing. Tim holds a Master of Business Analytics from MIT and dual bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computational and Applied Mathematics from Rice University.
