Simon Ly

Simon Ly has been working in the legal profession since 2012. Simon has held various roles such as Vacation and internships at Herbert Smith Freehills, K&L Gates, and EY. In 2013, they worked as an Analyst in Corporate and Asset Finance at Macquarie Group. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Lawyer in Technology & IP at K&L Gates. Simon then moved to KPMG Law, where they held the roles of Senior Associate and Lawyer in Technology & IP. Finally, in 2019, they joined IBM as a Senior Attorney and is currently working as Corporate Counsel at Magic Eden since 2022.

Simon Ly completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons) / Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Finance from Monash University between 2009 and 2014. Simon also attended the University of Liverpool from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Finance.
