Acky Kamdar

Acky Kamdar is the current CEO of Magic Edtech, and has previously held positions at Magic Finserv, Solmark.com, and Headstrong (a Genpact company). Kamdar has been in the business services industry for over 20 years, and has expertise in process, analytics, and technology. Prior to joining Magic Edtech, Kamdar served as the managing director of capital markets for Financial Markets Solutions (FMS) at Headstrong. In this role, Kamdar led a team that designed and delivered new generation industry solutions that create business impact for clients and the industry. Under Kamdar's leadership, Headstrong launched its first industry shared services offering of KYC (Know Your Clients) and Client On-boarding services to financial institutions in partnership with Markit. In addition to these services, Genpact has identified additional areas of focus in Post Trade Services, Regulatory and Compliance Services, and Reference Data where significant investments will be made in the coming years.

Acky Kamdar has an EMBA from NYU Stern School of Business in Management, and another in Business. Acky also has an Executive Program on Business Strategy from the Indian Institute of Management in Business Strategy for Senior Executives. Additionally, they have a MDP in Strategic Leadership from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a MMS in Business Management and Marketing from SIMSREE. Finally, they have a BCOM in Commerce and Business Accounting from Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics, as well as an HSC in Commerce and Business Accounting from NM College.
