Allan Bacon is an experienced leader in business development and strategic partnerships, currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Magic Leap since 2021. Previously, Bacon held the position of VP Sales and Marketing at ImagineOptix Corporation from 2020 to 2021 and directed new business and product development at Gordian from 2016 to 2019. Throughout a diverse career, Bacon has successfully managed integration processes, developed go-to-market strategies, and built licensing programs in various technology sectors, including optics and mobile communications. In addition to corporate roles, Bacon has contributed as a mentor for the Charlotte Venture Challenge and has an academic background with a PhD in Physics from Duke University and a BS in Physics from Rhodes College.
